I notice this every Friday afternoon. The thing I meant to do on Monday is still sitting there. Not because I am lazy.
Because nobody was waiting for it.
Online business has a strange habit of turning every stuck moment into a character flaw. If you are behind, be more disciplined. If you are stuck, fix your mindset. If you are scattered, get a better system. If you did not finish it — well, try harder next week.
I do not think that is always true.
Sometimes the problem is not your discipline. Sometimes the problem is that the task has no container. No start. No finish. No witness. No one sitting beside you while you move it from “I should” to “done.”
Many of us work better with a little external structure.
That is not a weakness. That is just how some humans get things done. That is why I created The Friday Room.
A small Friday Zoom room where you bring the thing that has been sitting there all week and work on it with other people quietly present.
No course. No teaching. Just the room.
Two hours, five people, one clear aim:
Come in at nine. Leave at eleven with something done.
Fridays 9–11 CET
6 weeks $79
Five seats
Starting May 15th
